Assessing

You have trained your Workplace Assessors. Now what?

  • Do they understand the Competency Acquisition Process (CAP)?
  • Do they have the correct tools to facilitate learning?
  • Is the environment condusive?
  • Can you see the difference, i.e. Is waste down? Is quality up? Is morale up? Are costs down?
  • Did the learner acquire the skill?

Assessing forms part of the Competence Acquisition Process. It is a process which allows an accredited Assessor to measure a Learner’s competence against a specific Unit Standard, as defined by the Standards Generating Body (SGB) of the applicable SETA (Sector Educational Training Authority).

The National Qualifications Framework (NQF) recognizes these specific unit standards, and allows learners to obtain credits towards specific levels of qualifications, as defined by NQF.

We offer a 2-day workshop on the Competence Acquisition Process (CAP) as well as the tools and documentation necessary.
